🌴 Alexandrite Laser (Fairer/Lighter Skin Types)

• NO sun exposure for 4 weeks before treatment

• NO sun exposure for 7 days after treatment

• Best for lighter skin tones and can target finer/lighter hairs

• If you’re still holding onto a tan, a test patch may be required before treating safely

☀️ Nd:YAG Laser (Darker Skin Types)

• NO sun exposure for 7 days before treatment

• NO sun exposure for 7 days after treatment

• Safer option for darker skin tones during summer months

• Important: Many clients think Nd:YAG means unlimited sun exposure — it does not. You still must avoid recent sun prior to treatment.

✔️ DO wear SPF daily and reapply often

✔️ DO shave the night before your appointment (unless your provider has said otherwise)

✔️ DO tell us about upcoming vacations or beach trips so we can schedule strategically

✔️ DO keep treated skin cool and hydrated afterward

❌ DON’T come in sunburned or freshly tan

❌ DON’T wax or tweeze between sessions

❌ DON’T assume all lasers are “summer safe” without proper precautions
